Tourism & Handicap:
The Mandelieu-La Napoule Tourist and Congress Office has received the Label for the 4 types of disability – physical, visual, hearing and mental impairment.
For its reception office and for the Congress and Exhibition Centre: this 5000 m² recently renovated building on one level hosts a large number of events, such as trade fairs, conventions and congresses. It can accommodate disabled people as it has the necessary equipment and facilities to make it totally accessible.
The CEC’s accessibility has been cited as an example by the Riviera Tourism Committee for the quality of its commitment to accessibility. It was on the occasion of the launch of the website dedicated and adapted to the disabled by the PACA Regional Tourism Committee www.handitourismepaca.fr, at the Maison de la Région in Marseille in May 2011, that the CEC was honoured alongside five other buildings in the Region with the official handover of the “Tourism and Handicap” plaque, as a symbol of this distinction.
Tourism Quality Label:
On 6 December 2011, the Tourist and Congress Office received the Tourism Quality Label for the activities it runs within the Congress and Exhibition Centre.
Quality of reception and service, professionalism and promotion of local resources are some of the label’s core values.
The Tourism Quality Label is also symbolic of the ‘art of hospitality’, which is our hallmark.
